Nick and Kyle’s last story is DONE! And…the ‘zon changed the series name…without asking or telling…

Steps7“In Review.”  So who knows when it’ll be out, an hour from now or a day…

So, yeah.  The series title.  Weird, right?  I chose the title “Nick and Kyle” for the stepfuckers series, so they WERE listed as, say, “Kyle’s New Stepbrother (Nick and Kyle, Book 1).” But, when I went to add my new story this morning, I did what I always do, which is to pathologically double check that I hadn’t been calling them “Kyle and Nick” all along and I was gonna screw it up.  I do this by opening up the page for any one of the first six stories in the series.

And guess what?  After looking at the pages for all six episodes, I found that, without asking or informing me, Amazon just changed the name of the series to “Kyle’s New Stepbrother.”  Ask not what Amazon can do for you, ask what Amazon can do to you… Is it a big deal?  No, and yes.  They could have dropped me a note, even if only one of their form letters that goes, you know, “in order to maximize our customer experience corporate bullshit blah blah, we have changed the name of your series because never mind why.”  Is that so much to ask?

Oh well!  All Hail Lord Bezos!  You Can’t Fight City Hall!  Double Plus Good!

Wow – just finished Nick & Kyle 7 and loved it. What a great ending to the series. I’m really gonna miss those stepf*ckers! The Berlin setting was perfect for the story. Great job!
