Is Amazon pushing ALL your books into Erotica if you’ve published ANY erotica?

space_103111_002_617x416That’s the report from abroad…there are authors who’ve pubbed in erotica, romance, even cookbooks and children’s books…and ALL of their titles are being recategorized by Amazon into “Erotica.” Glitch? Or malevolent maneuver? Who knows, with the ‘zon?

My romance novels are all still in Romance, for now. But…heads up, authors…check your Amazon listings…

  1. Another reason to use different pseudonyms if you write multiple genres?

    T. A. Barron writes children’s fantasy as well as non-fiction nature books and used the same name. I need to look and see if they have lumped all of his work under juvenile fiction.

Computers don’t always get it right and I suspect that is part of the problem.

    • Yeah the problem wasn’t pseudonyms, the problem was that Amazon was taking whole accounts and reclassifying all books regardless of pseudonym is under that account. Looks like they stopped doing that automatically and are now doing it by hand, but they definitely screwed up.
